A theater company in NYC rebranded themselves and held a competition. The concept was to market themselves as an inclusive community. The design brief emphasized that actors would be joining a community of people who help you and your craft. My goal was to develop something simple, digestible and include the idea of togetherness as the focal point. My focus was on a circular form with no defined beginning or ending. The design concept was based on a metal fence and how the links in a fence work together to hold itself up. This is similar to the sense of community which the theater company emphasized. Hence, my design is depicting abstracted hands holding each other.
