Romeo & Juliet
The design concept was the reuse of art depicting the characters in new and interesting ways.
I wanted to depict the essence of these stories through collaged imagery of older paintings that recreated these same tales of love and loss and the William and Morris tapestries served as my main inspiration for this project.
My intent for this piece was for the book cover to seem as if it were cut out of a larger tapestry telling the story of Romeo & Juliet.
